A view source problem

Now this one came up often during my Online classes, and several people were affected by it. Seems to be a known issue, but it is not well documented, so I thought I will repeat what was found out.

Using Internet Explorer, you sometimes had no way viewing the source code of certain pages, cause the function was inactive. Even typing view-source:http://www.whatever.com/ didn't work. It wasn't done by script because some folks where able to view the source, while others were not.

Finally, deleting all files from the Temporary Internet Files Folder solved the problem. But it reocurred after a period. So I limited the size of my cache to a maximum of 50 MB and since then this problem never came up.
